An educational undertaking of un hinged.

The Unhinged University

A modern seat of learning in music, poetry and performance. Learn, create, and grow. All levels welcome. We are not a real university, and we are not affiliated with any; the name is a promise about the energy, not a claim about accreditation. No student number required.

Rules of the House

Every student is asked to observe the following articles, which are few and kindly meant.

  1. All levels are welcome. The beginner is not merely tolerated; the beginner is celebrated.
  2. There is no such thing as the wrong voice. Only voices that have not yet been let out.
  3. Bring your own joy. The University will supply the rest.
  4. Leave the house in better tune than you found it.
  5. Art. Unleashed.
